Ludlow Museum get fantastic new cards

Six new Ludlow card designs

Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross tweeted…

“Fantastic collection of cards by a super talented lady, now available to purchase from the museum”

The Ludlow Museum are very proud to receive their latest collection of cards for 2018.  Created by architectural artist Jilly Oxlade-Arnott of Architectural Impressions from her original fine line and watercolour artworks, there are currently six designs available: Ludlow Castle, Broad & Kings Street, St. Laurence’s Church, The Feathers Hotel, Corve Street and The Buttercross itself.

They are A5 greeting cards, with white envelope in an individual cello sleeve. Digitally printed on FSC certified 350gsm silk paper stock, inside is left blank for your own message.

These artworks are also available from Architectural Impressions as:

  • A5 Digital Artist Signed Prints
  • A4 Fine Art (Gicleé) Limited Edition Prints
  • A3 Digital Prints in a Presentation Tube
  • A3 Fine Art (Gicleé) Limited Edition Prints
  • A2, A1 & A0 Fine Art (Gicleé) Canvas

The museum contains an interactive environment rich in history, while encapsulating the architecture and social history through its town centre location. The building is prominently located within the historic walled town of Ludlow, forming a key focal point at the head of Broad Street. The Buttercross occupies the main approach to the town centre from the south, forming a pivotal point on the dramatic spatial progression that leads from Ludford Bridge via Broadgate to the Ludlow Castle gates. It reveals the town’s proud architectural heritage to visitors and signposts them to other heritage venues in Ludlow to help visitors get the most from their stay.

The Heritage Interpretation Centre will engage its users with a unique view of the surrounding buildings from the semi-circular window, which offers a stunning view along Broad Street’s historic shops and dwellings and the surrounding countryside.
