Archiimp Launch their 1st Riverside Arts Fayre

The success of the Archiimp Pop Up Gallery Initiative has grown rapidly, since its inception in the New Year and Archiimp has been wanting to establish an annual event that would showcase its work throughout the year and one that would embed itself into the Worcester Arts calendar for years to come.

We approached the City Council and LSD Promotions with a proposal to take ownership of the existing Riverside Arts Market. LSD had been managing this event for a few years but despite good marketing campaigns had little or no take up from within the arts community.

The proposal was received very favourably by the team at the Council (lead by Helen Mole) and LSD (Dermot McGillicuddy) who agreed to partner in this new project which would be organised and managed under the Archiimp Pop Up Gallery banner.

The new Archiimp Riverside Arts Fayre is born.

The 1st Riverside Arts Fayre is to take place on Saturday 11th August at the Worcester South Quay.

Following feedback and research into why the old market failed to get established, Archiimp will be vetting artists applications to ensure the quality of work, diversity of art and mediums are of a high standard and a positive reputation of the event is built.

The event will take place on the same day as the St.Richards Hospice Duck Race and Celebration Garden taking advantage of the increased visitor numbers to the South Quay and will be opened by the Mayor of Worcester Jabba Riaz. It will include over 20 artists showing and selling a variety of art for all budgets.

If you are an artist and are interested in participating in this event please follow the link to our partners LSD website below and complete an application form:
