The Nest Opening Weekend
Archiimp provides an impromptu pop up gallery at The Nest courtyard at the Royal Worcester Porcelain works during the opening weekend on Sunday 1st June.
Having been a visitor on Saturday afternoon, enjoying the new surroundings, watching the lively entertainment and stalls of the day selling bread, gin, beer and sausages, we were keen to get involved. We introduced ourselves to Neil of the Nest and we were delighted that he was able to offer Archiimp some space the following day.
Not one for turning down a generous offer to exhibit in such a wonderful place on a gloriously sunny weekend (and maybe a few too many Bewdley ales) we to took up residence the following morning.
It was a fantastic day with a Samba band, a choir, food, drink and lots of sunshine.
Neil of The Nest commented “thank you for joining the opening celebrations, a
lovely weekend and I’m sure everyone that came will help spread the
word, it really is a great space.”
Jilly of Archiimp said “Lovely to meet you over the weekend and thank you again for the opportunity to exhibit at The Porcelain Works, its such a gorgeous space and very conducive to art.”
