I am a photographer with a passion for Trees and Woodlands! Working from high resolution digital photographic images I produce limited edition mixed media artworks and fine art “painterly” prints using highly textured watercolour papers. My aim is to create artworks and prints that will evoke the same feeling in the observer that I experienced in the “wild”.

“Sam has an ever-growing reputation among artists and collectors for her distinctive animal portraits, her much sought after paintings don’t hang on gallery walls for long. She engenders such loyalty among collectors because she imbues her subjects with almost human characteristics, and always raises a smile with her whacky painting titles they also happen to be technically excellent paintings.”(H.H. Curator).
