The Croome Collection is currently made up of fourteen artworks, one of which was the initial commission by the National Trust and was created especially for the ‘Art in Architecture’ Exhibition for display in the Library of Croome Court, as part of the National Trusts ‘Women and Power – 100 years of extraordinary women’.
These are created using Jilly’s Classique Style they are first pencil sketched, fine lined in ink and finished in watercolour. The work beautifully highlights the building structure by extending the detailed line work beyond the subject and uses an array of wonderfully bright colours enhancing the image even further.
