There is a wide variety of watercolour paper available. We usually use a 300gsm acid free hot pressed stock. On occasion we have used a heavier weight but this can restrict the movement of the fluid and will produce a different end result.
We predominantly use Faber Castell pencils and ink pens as they produce high quality results. We use Windsor & Newton Cotman tubes and half pans of watercolour paint.
