The Marwood has teamed up with Jilly of Architectural Impressions to provide a new mini gallery space within one of the most popular bar/restaurants in Worcester. Situated in the lounge area immediately as you enter the venue, is the perfect place to showcase local artists.

The Marwood Mini Gallery has been set up as a place where local artists can present new artworks which promote awareness, improve knowledge and celebrate the amazing architecture provenance and global historical importance the buildings of the City of Worcester represent.

The City of Worcester has some of the most historically significant buildings in England and has one of the greatest number of listed and protected buildings of any UK city outside of London.

Mr C “Jilly is a very talented local artist who has a unique watercolour style, however it was her Vivid Range that most caught my eye, something that I had never seen before of Worcester and thought the resulting effect was fantastic.”

“I always try to support local businesses and Worcester itself wherever possible and through talking with Jilly I decided to create art space to celebrate Worcester’s amazing architectural pedigree and The Marwood Mini Gallery was born.”

“Her style compliments our décor and creates a dramatic entrance when visiting our venue.”

Ben Coates – Owner of The Marwood

You can currently view three works from Jilly’s Vivid Range and two from her Classique Range, these are available to purchase through The Marwood, 40 The Tything, Worcester WR1 1JL.
